When Covid-19 started spreading like a wild fire, things start to change very quickly. People reacted so fast and many things were changed with in short period of time. Supermarkets left empty shelf, pharmacy shops overwhelmed with people queuing for some essentials and universities stopped face-to-face teaching events. Such measures were taken to curb the spread of infection for the best interest of staff and students. These measures were unprecedented and they could affect in many ways and the thing is how we can change in to our benefit. Staying at home is so boring especially if you live on your own, and on the other hand if you live with family and children it is hard to concentrate to your assignments and course works. Therefore you the best thing is to split the time between your course works and family life. Explain to your family if you live with family, what plans you have, put a time frame and try to accommodate everything as much as possible. Online teaching won’t suite to every one of us but let we try to make it working, we can also create a platform that we can share ideas by connecting each other through social Medias like skype, Zoom, WhatsApp. Many students those they were supporting themselves financially through working part time jobs are really struggling as most jobs are closed now. I wonder if they can apply for student hardship, and that might need to be addressed once the university reopened. It is very difficult time to most of us but I hope it is worth stay at home than becoming a burden to our family and our community. Furthermore we need to stay calm and optimistic as always. This pandemic will pass soon and one day it will become a history. Hope you are all doing great and Stay safe.
